You're no different. Cluster bombs are designed to shred any bodies in their path. Some 5-20% are unexploded and waiting for anyone; military, civilian, children, it doesn't matter. But you can push that aside and ask why the UN doesn't change it's packaging for food packets. If the US is doing the packaging, you just push that aside. Israel using cluster bombs you just push aside. Actually, I am somewhat linear, I looked at the problem, and suggested what I saw as a possible solution. Once the bomblets are on the ground, Changing the color is the solution. It doesn't matter who is packing the food, it needs to be a different color. As for stopping the bombs, sure I have given up any hope the bombs will stop, I can hardly believe the cease fire has lasted this long. You mentioned the IDF not caring, do you think any Muslim cares when a Jew dies? Do you see a single tear when a suicide bomber sets off his bomb on a bus full of children? Never. I am sure each member of the Israeli air force feels a certain amount of pleasure at getting even for all the people they know who have died. When they bombed Germany in the War pilots said they just didn't think about it, it was simply a target. That is what war is. You just keep killing till someone says stop. Everyone lied. Every party involved lied to everyone else in order to get a ceasefire. Frankly, Hizbollah should not start rebuilding, the war will be on again in a few days, why bother? Better send in some people to collect bombs, and rig bomb shelters. And find places for women and children near Syria, not this nonsense of them coming back to die in the next war. Israel doesn't count and never has counted Arab lives, they only count Israeli lives and at the end of the day, Israel lost another 150+ Israelis and achieved nothing. I remember the six day war. well not the war itself, but the reaction to it here. Some people I knew in the restaurant I ate breakfast in were Jewish. They were terrified. Israel has been terrified for 60 years. Every day they know that some crazy Muslim may kill their son, their daughter, their wife, their father. Muslims have been killing Jews since 622 ad. Since the 1920's there have been terror attacks. Jews left Israel because they were forced out. When they came back it was from the camps and right away the killing started again. I believed until recently that if the Muslims simply stopped, that the Israelis would after a period without threats give back almost everything that Hizbollah wanted. I believe that the Palestinians could have gotten a much better deal without missiles than they got with missiles. But the more I learn of Islam, the more I see that they are not able to stop, to let the Israelis relax to not be at war for ever. So the israelis will lose some who cannot take the strain, but every year at Passover the say to their families "Next year in Israel." So some young men will come to fight in Israel every year. Israel is a dream, the religious home of the Jews. In the mean time, more and more people are blaming the Muslims for the problems with airplanes. The governments are trying to say it is not the Muslims but rather some Muslims, but more and more people are beginning to say that racial profiling is the way to solve the problem. I have said before I expect a religious war. I expect in the next few years that things will get worse. George Bush will be remembered as the president for the term that lead up the the third world war.

Amazingly, Hezbollah is on the ground in Lebanon arranging for repairs to thousands of homes in about two days....that's their goal. They come armed with cash...in US dollars no less...and have already set up and are manning street level offices to hand out immediate relief and setup for reconstruction. They've even gotten down to the level of determining what kind of glass and wood needs to be replaced per dwelling. OMG. Thanks to the oil money flowing through Iran (most likely) Hezbollah has millions to spend reconstructing what Israel reduced to rubble. Unbelievably, they're efficient. Maybe we should hire Hezbollah to train the US government in disaster relief. Unreal. Ridiculous. Absurd. You'd think that it would be abundantly clear to have US money flow to Lebanon instead but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. The US contribution is rhetoric and an opening for Israel to continue bombing AND really, really, really bad PR.
