tejek...I don't think anybody wants to stay in Iraq any longer than we have to. The reason the Democrats aren't coming up with an alternative plan is that there ISN'T one. NOBODY knows what to do with this mess. It's hard to come up with an alternative plan when there isn't an ORIGINAL plan. The Democrats should start hitting Bush daily with the question.."WHAT'S the Administration's plan?????????? If he answers, "just stay the course"..then they should say, "for how long"...and "what can we reasonably expect to accomplish". Bush is the guy that started this thing and HE should be the guy setting the parameters. When a guy runs himself and everybody else into quicksand he shouldn't be able to say, "Well, I got us in here, but you can't complain because you don't have any answers for getting us out".
