When your enemy doesn't care about civilian casualties on either side, you have an obligation to end the war as quickly as you can regardless of the number of casualties he suffers. Hizbollah shows no sign of any concern for casualties that are not Muslim. Thus Israel has the obligation to fight the war on Hizbollahs terms. Had there been 20,000 Shiite deaths in Lebanon, this war might have been won.
