On the surface AGI is a good one! I just read something on AQI that speculated that neither silver project (theirs or IMR's) would get built do to a lack of water in that desert area of Argentina. Is that true?

The original deposit sounds interesting, but that lawsuit sours me a bit on the whole deal. Sounds like things will be up in the air for a while IMR appeals the decision. Once it gets worked out, even if it is in AQI's favor, AQI needs to pay IMR for its exploration costs and will need to raise funds, i.e. dilution.

Following its legal victory announced July 17, 2006 the Company will require further funds to reimburse IMA Explorations Inc for approved expenditures on the Navidad project and expects to address this issue once the timing of the transfer of ownership is determined.

I dunno, sounds like a bunch of BIG egos at play. Too bad they don't figure out a way to work it out without the lawyers. The only ones that win in a deal like this are the lawyers.

Maybe while they are in a dispute with each other and focused on that and not the business, as PM prices rise, a junior or mid tier will launch a hostile take over of both companies and make the lawsuit a moot point? Wouldn't that be poetic justice?

Maybe McEwen and his Mineras Andes could take over AQI and consolidate the juniors in Argentina? They should have some nice cash as they start printing money in 1Q2007.
