How 'bout the Toyota Prius. That created a lot of buzz.

You hear a lot about the Tesla, but that's because you're in the Bay Area. I'm glad to see that the Tesla now exists even though it's not road ready. However, you saw my post about the Toyota Sienna Hybrid, didn't you?

When it comes to tools, America builds the best. I use the Chinese crap for minor things like screwdrivers and hammers, but when it comes to the important stuff, I go US made (preferably made before the Chinese outsourcing trends started). Just bought a 20 year old radial arm saw the other day. The thing looks like it should be in the Smithsonian. American made and cuts through bubinga, a wood about as dense as stone, like a hot knife through butter. Nothing like the cheap crap you find in the hardware stores today.

I'm keeping that thing until I die!
