For one who quotes scriptures as a backbone to an argument, you best be careful about your attitude toward Israel. IT is not at the request of the Jews that we honor them, it is at the request of the author who truly wrote the book. Some believe it to be only men, some believe it to be what the scriptures say, inspired by the Holy Ghost written by men. Quite a distinction between those two authors. Jesus asked: "Whom do men say that I am?" Then turned to Peter and said "whom do you say that I am?" That is a direct personal call .... your call ... your decision ... you will live with it. Israel is the land of the book, Israel is the people of the book. Isaac vs. Ishmael ... Children of Abraham and the promised land of Canaan (Palestine)
