You make so many great points, I'm not going to try to disturb your line of thinking. I totally agree with Israel's decision to defend itself. However, they failed to demonstrate any part of their mission once they escalated the hostage situation to a full fledged declaration of war. Why aren't we invading the country that kidnapped the fox reporters?

The capacity and will to perpetuate aggression against both Israel and the US is highly dependent on our inclination to respond to terrorism by "going to war". It is only when we decide to "go to war" that their "capacity and will" is elevated to a scale that truly threatens us. Until we learn that basic lesson, we will never win.
