In my opinion, there is little doubt that the war that radical Islam has declared on the west is real. the scary thing is that it is a good war plan and potentially effective . They have patience , they have a willing army (millions of muslims), they have a soft enemy ( that is until we wake up, which potentially could be never or long way off) and..... they have all the frigging oil which can humble even our mighty economy.
their tactics are classic guerrilla and their battle field is anywhere in the world. They can't win a traditional battle but their warplan includes (as your article references) creating chaos in the west and the population of muslims in the west keeps growing and they may, in the end be a crucial element in the nature of our enemy.

troubled times , indeed.
