If what you say is true - I don't understand people like Calculated Risk who seem to imply post after post after post that different political leadership would have caused different results in the world. If what you say is true - that nothing can be done - why vote or care who gets elected or what laws are made? Why worry about what bank examiners enforce or what loantechs put people into - there is no hope after all - nothing can be done - we are just helpless rubber duckies floating in a great sea of chaos.


All politicians are the same. They'd sell their mother for a vote. They just pander to a different set of people.

Personally, I think at some point in the future I think there will be a crisis which brings about needed change. In the meantime, people can vote. Those who understand what's happening can try and educate the masses.
