Capturing enemies in a time of war doesn't make for a police state. In a real police state you wouldn't have heard much about Padilla. He simply would have disappeared. 1. If you think ignoring FISA is not unconstitutional then why did the Bush administration go to FISA in the first place and, apparently, several thousand times? Because to not do so is controversial. Also I never said it isn't unconstitutional, I said it was not clearly unconstitutional. I've also said the administration position is not ridiculous, but at the same time I said I wasn't endorsing it. Why are you trying to become enslaved? What a ridiculous non-sequitur.
