To be outraged on this one is not conservative, liberal, moderate or libertarian. It’s a reaction against authoritarianism.

Someone left a comment at xrlq noting that the notion of "guilty property" is a relic from English common law and was almost a dead letter until drug warriors managed to revive it.

The idea that an inanimate object can be guilty of a crime is ludicrous.
