You deal with it, idiot. You claimed Democrats wanted to lose in Iraq. That's a totally idiotic claim. JMHO

No one wants to lose. No one wants to lose a war. Most people do not even want war. We lost in Vietnam and lessons were learned about going to war.

Colin Powell was there, and the lessons learned were condensed into the Powell Doctrine:

1. Is a vital national security interest threatened?

2. Do we have a clear attainable objective?

3. Have the risks and costs been fully and frankly analyzed?

4. Have all other non-violent policy means been fully exhausted?

5. Is there a plausible exit strategy to avoid endless entanglement?

6. Have the consequences of our action been fully considered?

7. Is the action supported by the American people?

8. Do we have genuine broad international support?

We know now that none of these important questions could be answered yes by the Bush administration. In fact they lied to the American people to make some of them look like they were met.

In order to be successful in a military campaign, all 8 must be met without question.

We were far short of meeting the Powell Doctrine, That's why Powell said, you break it you own it. It was a warning.

It's like watching someone jump off a cliff, and now you blame the democrats for not helping. Unless you're wearing a parachute, there's not much to say, and if you are wearing a parachute all I can add is pull the freaking rip cord idiot!

That would be code for it's time to have a plan for ending our involvement in Iraq. The republicans have no plan. Their plan is to continue building 14 bases and the world's largest embassy. Their plan is quite simply occupation.

You want me to say that I support occupation of another country?

How about the occupation of a country with a seething civil war going on?

I'd say that we did not learn from Vietnam. No small wonder. The only person in this administration that served in Vietnam, or in any combat, was drummed out for opposing the war in Iraq. You can't learn the lesson of Vietnam if you weren't there!

These chickenhawks should all face impeachment and a war crimes tribunal.
