Buddha Skoota

Haa, I like that. I was Skoota Bruddah yesterday and today. Took off yesterday at 1:30pm, headed for an overnight scootaway to my Eastern Oregon playground. After checking in to a motel at around 5pm, I let the heat subside for an hour or so, then went looking for backroads I had never been on before...found some good uns.

Then I stopped in at a little tavern/steakhouse for a T-Bone the size of a saddle..OMG. Went back to the motel and slept like a log...got up early and headed down the Gorge, exploring my way back towards Mt St Helen's and home.

Here is a pic looking west down the Columbia, that is Mt Hood in Oregon in the distance.....

Turkey Trip update:

Touring the Bosphorus:

Touring Cappadocia:

Interesting country with a few exceptions:

Grand Bazaar; Hoax
Spice Bazaar; Rip-off

Hard to compel someone to visit this part of the world unless you are a hardcore history buff.
