Hello Pezz, Today's Report:

I used undeserved in-flow to simultaneously do many good:

(a) kept promise to self to progress with forced savings (off-balance sheet, in side-pocket, embedded within shock & awe axis of barbaric thrift - love American English :0) in terms of constant purchasing power and be able to turn over some amount of such savings to the Coconut when she reaches 18 or 28 (yet to be determined, depending on whether she takes after her mom or me :0) that is a complicated function of her then expected body weight (hopefully she will not care for freedom fries), life expected fuel usage, cost of first abode, price of first car, and education stipend;

(b) reduced liquidity in HK;

(c) reduced China-US trade friction due to deficit;

(d) reduced USA need to unproductively guard Fort Knox; and

(e) reduced danger to self by removing some instant at the whim ability to "pressing key and buy something after clicking button and sell something else"

Yes, I loaded up enough of the physical stuff in the American Eagle variety, to make good on what remains due to the Coconut's 2nd year's allocation of such savings, before her birthday thunders around in October, when she may audit and ask, "dada, where is my gold?".

Most of the current year allocation was purchased in January Message 22076727 , thank goodness. The program has gotten less unaffordable; and may it continue on trend :0)

The stuff sure is useless, and might as well be off-balance sheet ;0)

Hello Pezz, may have triggered the latest round of gold 'consolidation' by buying physical yesterday. Thank goodness I got rid of my paper gold. Darn, there, I probably just set of the gold ramp with that statement :0)

Hello Pezz, Last Night's Report:

I sold a solid tranche, meaning three material dollops of guess what, oops, I meant Guess? finance.yahoo.com at USD 46.14.

You are correct, I never bought it, which means the trade is one for the dark side.

I think the share is good for a double ... oops again, I meant to say bad for a halve.

Perhaps my supposed null position can be made more secure by going slightly to the dark side.

I think lifestyle is out, going forward, and folks will not be needing/wanting expensive canvas clothing, and so I start hedge my energy wagers and commodity currency exposures.

Hello Pezz, Report Just In:

I held my nose and bought three tranches of paper gold at HKD 5709/tael. LTBH from this point on.
