Just got back from a drive around the western US visiting on our way parts of wife's extended family, and also other folks having immigrated from her ex town "back home"...

In the process, found what appears to be a common thread among most of the teen and early 20's males ran into on trip...

They all seem to be collecting Michael Jordan basket ball shoes, and are willing to camp out over night at Nike Town to be first in line for new variations, which are apparently manufactured in Asian sweat shops in "limited" quantities.

These things sell for as much as US$600/pair. These are not necessarily worn, but are collected (some still in original boxes). I saw one example of a room full of this stuff and every male from 13 - 20 I ran into was aware of the phenomena...

I pass this along as something you may have the inclination to investigate and perhaps short.

Good move so far :) Market is still teetering between a crash and a boom:

Message 22765109

My indicators can't diagnose between the two at this point. So sidelines is probably a wiser move until things are clear. I have a tight stop based on E-Wave for detecting a break out and remain short QQQQ. If the stop triggers it will give back maybe 10% of my profits so far since the beginning of July trading this model.
