Maybe the point should be that we expect more of ALL our Senators and elected representatives. Fat, dumb and lazy is no way to run a Country. That goes for the Kennedys, Bidens, et. al. as well. You won't find posts of mine praising the fat cats of the democratic party. But they have so little power right now, attention has to focus on who is calling the shots....the Republican Adminstration, the Republican Congress...their appointed delegates in the agencies. Right now the demos are nothing but lightweights crying in the wilderness. That could change in November, but given their record of grabbing opportunity, don't bet on it. Personally, I like divided government.
