you say the past 6 mos has been good for diversified investors? Well avg mkt returns are 10% and the S&P has returned exactly ZERO for the past 6 mos and money mkt is now paying 5% so where are you coming from that the past 6 mos have been good. S&P is diversified, no? I guess it comes down to your window for whether it has been a good 3 years in the stock market. Its not like the 90s, or the 80s, or the 50s or 60s. All of those periods were better than this climate.
