Since when are deficits a "left" thing? While liberals may be for more government spending, they're also for the taxes needed to balance it.

Deficits, or at least large ones, are just a matter of being irresponsible.

I think I remember from the history books that the Democrats used to be what we'd consider the Republicans today. Parties change. Now the Republicans are moving left when it comes to deficits and right when it comes to politics.

Frankly, I think this whole Republican frugal thing is a myth. If you look at my favorite chart, since WW II, the deficit as a percent of GDP has gone down in every Dem administration but only during two out of five GOP administrations........Reagan, Bush I and Bush II. If the GOP has changed, it started with Reagan. That means its been a myth for 25 years. Time to give it up!

democrats have moved farther left on our military and even farther left on buying votes with our tax money. Won't be long village idiot hillary will start up her free healthcare to buy votes again...
