Nothing the US has done so far has done anything but play into Iran's hands. How do you win that game?

And that's why they now have 150,000 US forces on one of their borders, and 10,000 on the other (Afghanistan)?

And they have their proxy, Nasrallah, apologizing for attacking the Jews?

And they had to manipulate their elections to reject hundreds of reformist candidates so that one of their hard-liners had to dawn the public face of the regime?

I don't know Ichy.. Maybe you're right, but it seems to me that they would be even more powerful if the US were not in Iraq, and Nasrallah wasn't having to apologize for anything.

And they certainly would be more powerful were they to possess nukes.

Want to see the majority of American troops come back from Iraq? It ain't going to happen if Iran gets the bomb. We're going to be in a similar situation of having to station our forces in the Persian Gulf (substantial numbers of them) in order to extend our own nuclear umbrella over the region via the use of "trip-wire" presence of US forces.
