Have you read his April 2000 newsletter where he recommends NEW mutual funds for his subscribers to put their 1999 IRA money into? The fund he recommended for conservative folks is down about 50% last I looked... It could be higher with dividends, but it was clobbered. I don't remember if they were ever mentioned again since the stocks in those funds started to tank right after that recommendation.
