In NZ, we have imported a LOT of Chinese for example. I can't imagine many of them voting to pay taxes to look after lazy bludging old Euro baby-boomers who never bothered to set aside savings for their old age, hoping to bludge on the hard-working Asian imports. I can't imagine all that many of the younger Euro offspring of the baby-boomers doing so either. I think the old geezers will be on their own, or maybe thrown a few crumbs. They won't be living high on the hog on welfare as they have done for 30 years, spending the national savings and putting the country in hock. Tarken-san is too busy doing things, such as zenbu.net.nz to bother ranting or reading in silly SI. ZenBu has 41 valid users now. That's a gain of half a dozen today. Getting customers is a LOT of fun. Still in alpha trial mode, working up to beta one of these days. I see today that there's competition - tomizone.com fired up, funded in part by a famous [in NZ] businessman/philanthropist Stephen Tindall who started The Warehouse [a large chain of retail stores in NZ - like Wal-Mart]. roamad.com is also doing wifi and I've previously invested in that. I believe there should be news tomorrow [meaning in about 8 hours]. Stephen Tindall is newsworthy in NZ, so it'll be reported. ZenBu runs from a little old house in a tiny one-horse town called Rangataua, while Tomizone runs from about the 16th floor of a big glass tower in Queen Street, the main drag of Auckland. They obviously have a different approach to costs. It will be interesting to see which one does better. I have my money, literally, on ZenBu. Mqurice PS: There's not even a shop in Rangataua [other than ZenBu] so perhaps I exaggerate and it's not even a one horse town. But there are about 60 houses in the area and you can see it in the ZenBu site using the satellite viewing.
