Were the Arabs deporting the Jews prior to the WELL known plans of the creation of Israel? There are cause and effect relationships. I do agree BTW, that Arab expulsion of Jews only strengthened both the Zionist cause, and ultimately the state of Israel, something which was very short sighted of on the part of Arabs. Even further, if the Arabs had allowed the Jews to remain, I imagine that Jewish accommodation of Arabs within Palestine would be better as well. Hatred on both sides has not helped anything in the ME.
