I found that story rather chilling -- the hedge funds will get involved and push the prices up on speculation, meaning large numbers of poor people will starve because they can't afford wheat or bread. This will be partially offset by poor farmers making more for their crops, but still... Let's not even get into the issue of rich countries' agricultural subsidies. On a happier note, I'm assuming this flurry of posts means your various appendages are behaving themselves these days. LC
