Right now many Muslims believe that israel has been defeated Where in the world do you get this idea from? Muslims in the region know that Lebanon has been decimated, its infrastructure set back by a decade, regardless of what the head of the local Islamic terrorist group may say. Muslims have seen the destruction of numerous Lebanese buildings, the dislocation on 25% of the Lebanese population and the resultant grounding to a halt of the Lebanese economy at the height of the tourist season. Muslims aren't in Lebanon visiting Lebanon NOW (it is August, much of the rest of the ME is a boiling furnace at the moment) because Lebanon has been reduced to squalor. Israelis, meanwhile, are watching cable TV in their air conditioned homes, planning weekend trips with their families and going about their daily lives. You think Muslims conclude from this that Israel has been defeated? I don't think so.....
