LL, We were there for a wedding of a close friend He met a Turk Lady in Germany while he was attending RISD. I was far from impressed with Turk society Too many feral cats and dogs. Boring food. They live like a human ant farm; burrowing tunnels and homes into the mountains. They smoke ciggs far to much The Wine is too tannic (borders on Vinegar) and the 'Roki' liquor is horrendous. I'll stick with my Tanqueray & Tonic (TNT) or Belvedere with a twist of lemon & ice (VW Lemon) Thank you very much... Garments and fashions are about as exciting as German military fatigues. If I were a Card carrying member of the fashion police I could have made a killing writing tickets. LOL We did not see Troy It wasn't part of our itinerary We traveled as a family group and preplanned our bus tours Maybe next time, but fwiw we don't plan to return to that country. Timster
