Failing to catch every crisis in not the same as causing it. The GOP rightwing falsely states that Clinton sold us out to the Chinese. That is 100% baseless and libelous. What Clinton did was sometimes not handle a crisis the way it should be handled. But three points on that:

1) Clinton was deluged with rightwing smear attacks about his sex life and many other trumped-up accusations. How much of his time did that take to combat that he could have spent doing more important things for the country?

2) Bush has presided over the biggest wave of corporate corruption in US history and doesn't just let it happen he sometimes cooperates with it, like the enormous energy gouging his buddies at Enron strarted, but which are still going on, and the fact that over 10 billion is missing in Iraq and 10-30% of all Iraqi oil is being stolen before it hits market.

3) All presidents make mistakes. No one is perfect. But tyhose you have to watch out for are the ones who deliberately mislead and scam the public, especially to put money into the pockets of their inner circle, which indirectly means their own pockets. Bush is guilty of that. Remember Dubai Ports? Enron? Halliburton?
