On the contrary, Harper is a yesman to Bush. He seems hell-bent on supporting Bush apparently for the sake of survival of his term in government. Hence Canadian troops are still there.

The troops are still there because of Martin's agreement to take the Lead of the Nato Forces. Martin Announced it AFTER the election. Martin signed us up for 2 years. and harper arrived after martin signed the deal. It had nothing to do with harper.
