The Rambus ITC case is not the Qualcomm case, and Broadcom is also no Qualcomm. Let them flail around in frivolous litigation, and mock indignation, creating straw men they can`t even knock down. Boies and his multi-million dollar billing machine chose their best theories, selected their preferred venue, and were unable to get past the courthouse vestibule. They may get the media to play Jaws music, but they will also alienate the judiciary with such misconduct, and further harm their corporate cause.
I hope Qualcomm has found a way around the few chip patents at issue before the ITC, so no license for them will even be needed. However, Broadcom would be best advised to concentrate on negotiating their way out of the mess they have created, and make peace, not more war.
