Yes, Hawk...of course there are things to be learned from EVERY conflict.

ONE lesson from Vietnam might have been how to fight a guerilla war where friend and foe both look alike.

BUT..of course, Rumsfeld and the geniuses that put together the war plan for Iraq were too busy figuring out how to collect all the flowers that would be thrown at them by Iraqi citizens to consider such mundane and unnecessary lessons.
