Karl Rove is a mentally ill evil genius. It probably has a lot to do with wanting his gay father to love him. Rove has never had much interest in women and is said to be a closet case like J. Edgar Hoover. And remember, his falling in love with GW Bush's "charisma" is what got the whole "let's create the GW Bush myth" started. But to do that they had to erase 1971 when he went AWOL and was rumored to have been arrested for cocaine. They had to turn that into "he was a fighter pilot ready to go to war". And they had to smear Bush's two war hero opponents, McCain and Kerry.
