I think they've learned how to game the system and have it down to a science. They all serve on the boards of each other's companies and set each others salaries and compensation plans. As the jack up the compensation, they can show "comps" to jack their OWN compensation up, and on and on..

Sure beats me. Maybe there's some economic principle that a Fortune 500 executive should make as much as an entertainment star or a professional athlete.
