Probably because I was a raised a Presbyterian--that 's a semi joke. I just basically feel that there's a lot of tough stuff we have to take on in life and that pleasure seeking is not a good survival strategy for the race. And of curse if you take this to the extreme you've basically got Timothy Leary and that, of course, is the end of Western Civilization. It may be that I am not completely understanding what you mean. With respect to the Swedes--why aren't Alaskans that way?
