Mountain Woman, I am an Adirondack native.............where bouts were you? Schroon Lake. Where do you live? Did you grow up there? It seems that every time I go up to the Adirondacks I find myself wondering why I don't just move there for good. Despite having grown roots here in the community we live in now, I think perhaps I could start some sort of business up there or find a job. The pay would probably not be as high but the quality of life would most likely be better. I think about things like if I sold my house here, I could probably buy a few acres and a house and not have to worry about a mortgage any more. I'd have plenty of wood to heat the house with instead of the huge oil bills I get now. Perhaps someday this dream will become a reality.
