The truth needs no defense from the government or anyone else. If BYU was influenced by the government, that would be a crime in and of itself. I do think that a prudent government should take some action to make sure that truly false and damaging propaganda is not spread in manner that threatens our country. If you believe that then you are a Nazi. The constitution does not give the power to the government to do that. The constitution guarantees freedom of speech. When the government fears bafoons, then the government must also be a bafoon. In America we have freedom of speech. Even if it makes a complete ass out of ourselves. It's The professor's right to make an ass of himself. What business is it of the government's to silence an ass? I don't know if Jones has his own web site yet. He said he would shortly.
