Southern Thailand is a place where there are lots of Muslims living in the midst of other Thais who are Buddhists. To the extremist Muslims there, the proliferation of bars and "f"-shops for the indulgence of westerners is utterly offensive, and so they would shoot and bomb the "procurers". Not surprising! But the media never fails to sensationalise and propagandise on such incidents. So they are shooting school teachers and motorcycle mechanics, yes I can see that school teachers and motorcycle mechanics would be my choice for ending all that pandering...
