Moon again


I keep working on my moon imaging capability. This one is with a Nikon D200, Walimex 500/8 ($100 eBay lens), Kenko 2x teleconverter, camera on tripod, mirror lock-up, remote release. ISO 200, exposure 1/15 s (manual), f/16 (wide open), manual focus. RAW/NEF converted with Nikon Capture NX 1.2, sharpening and contrast set to high, no USM. The image is a 50% reduction, file size 74 KB.
