I suppose DVB-H is just that, "an effective technology", nothing more and nothing less. And hopefully good enough to be a success. Just like GSM was/is "just an effective technology", and good enough to be succesful!

While Nokia is the driver behind DVB-H, it is clear that Motorola will ride all of the commercially viable formats, including FLO. Nokia`s marketing muscle is considerable, having already succeeded in getting ETSI on board, and establishing a "value chain". I agree with Scratchmyback to the extent that inferior technology,pushed by a dominant player, can be resoundingly successful.
