I'll grant you the EV-1 was an odd looking car, but if you go back and read articles in Car and Driver from people that leased it, they liked the car and wanted to buy them. Which says it all right there doesn't it? Its odd looking and the only people who like it are "car geeks" (who are not the target market). How many GROCERS (iow industry insiders) shop at whole foods? How many mechanical engineers buy apple computers? I am telling you something that you are not contesting, that the Tesla is MARKETED better than other solutions. You don't seem to be disputing that.
