What problem is a 100k 2 seat battery powered Lotus a solution to??

I don't know what the issues with Delorean or the Dale were, really. I do know that Detroit is in a TOTALLY DIFFERENT position now, than it was then.

As far as the 2-seat battery powered lotus and who they are selling to- can you tell me the competing product that is offered by the conventional players TODAY that competes with the Tesla? I don't think there is one. Which means we don't know if there is a market or not. Tesla is in the same position as Apple computer a year ago. A lot of naysayers with nothing but irrelevant history on their side.

BTW, I would love an electric vehicle. I don't like going to the gas station. I don't like the experience of having to get up and fill my gas tank, get gasoline on my hands and get dirty. To me an electric vehicle is worth a premium, for the no-gas station hassle factor being removed.

BTW 100K isn't much. You guys act like its 1/2 million or something. The number of SUVs selling in the 60K range these days proves it. And those are not image vehicles either.

Oh, would somebody tell Lizzie that buying a $60K SUV that can carry the whole famiy is NOT the same as buying a 2-set $100K toy?
