Also, I'll add that Miller seems to want to have it both ways. Biological life just happened without design per mainstream Darwinism, yet he agrees that we're in a world of meaning and purpose consistent with an overarching, possibly Divine intelligence... I don't see any contradiction. You can say that evolution through natural selection, gene transference, genetic drift ect. is possible and even that it happened, and even that it is the overwhelming reason (perhaps only reason) for the diversity of species, without asserting that there is no overall purpose or meaning or design to any aspect of the universe. And even if those ideas where somehow inconsistent it isn't a refutation of his arguments such as millerandlevine.com
