Buddy, Since this survey is probing into the beliefs of individual people, I would say that it is asking questions that is none of their business. Faith, and beliefs, are private feelings of individuals and have no bearing on the value of the US, or the rest of the world. If they are fearing some sort of new crusade, this survey will mean nothing, and will not prevent such a tragic event.

As long as any belief is not causing the murder, and mayhem, against another, those that hold those beliefs should be left alone in private.

If they just want to waste time, and attempt to delve into the private thoughts of people on a faith, or belief, level, then I see no reason for it. It may not harm anyone, but it could, if in the wrong hands, cause the making of a list of those that do not conform to the wishes of a ruling group, and could cause another Holocaust, or something like it. That would be "Big Brother" at it's worse.

If a group of people are in the process of using their faith as a reason to attack, and kill, those that believe otherwise, then action needs to be taken to stem the tide.
