"My point is this: If you believe the neocons "wanted" another Pearl Harbor, you should also believe that the Democrats "wanted" another Vietnam."

There isn't a correlation. The neocons spoke of another Pearl Harbor as something that is needed to ease change, the Democrats warned of another Vietnam. There isn't any way to nuance those two as being equivalent.

CJ, your post is self-contradicting. My point is this: If you believe the neocons "wanted" another Pearl Harbor, you should also believe that the Democrats "wanted" another Vietnam.

Maybe but that didn't stop them from using it to start multiple wars. Why do you defend crap that can't be defended?
