The only way to be "sensitive" (I gotta laugh at that concept) to all of them is to keep my mouth shut. It takes patience. You don't hear women getting all exercised over being called "girl" or blacks about getting called "boy" any more. Remember when each of those was a big deal? Now, unless either is spit out like an epithet, those are just words. Islam has a couple of features that are problematic. One is that it hasn't (yet) had a reformation like other major religions. The other is that it doesn't have a hierarchy, a pope. If the former were not the case, we wouldn't be having the problem in the first place. If the latter weren't the case, then at least we'd have a focal point for solving it. Too bad.
