I'm not buying much. I think we are late in an economic cycle with the market expecting a soft landing. It might happen and it might not. Usually when you have an inverted yield curve a soft landing is a near impossibility.

As for the Oil Service stocks they look short term oversold but we are past the cyclical peak so energy will have a tough time outperforming.

In addition oild prices tend to fall after October:

So while a short term bounce for the oil services sector should be expected near term I would not hold these stocks for long.
