"irrational exuberance"? 1996.

The Naz had increased 4X in 6 years by then.
That spike starting in 1999 was his "cure" for Y2K. Remember he assured banks they wouldn't run out of currency? Then the Treasury (not directly under AG's control, but they listen to him) started wearing out the presses. The $'s appear to have headed right for the stock market.

If Clinton used his wiles to get things going so well in the 90's, then I certainly hope that we could get another president with wiles so attuned to get us OUT of the mess that Bush has gotten us into.
D***! You don't like 4.7% unemployment and rising GDP?

Come on, Laz...you CAN'T tell me things are looking better in ANY respect under Bush than they did under Clinton.
Oh yeah I can. We aren't in a bubble wondering when it will pop and what the consequences will be.

Clinton's cheerleading takes more research. But he was blowing up that bubble as hard as he could.

Maybe you should see someone about these memory problems.
