Lane, I have no idea if you are being sincere or patronizing..really..when I asked you what you'd do 'with this issue'..you responded with 'what issue?', etc, etc..hence, my confusion as you've been discussing this all day.. Give me an objective Are you a lawyer?-g- I've heard this so often from a past lawyer liasons.. I've spent my entire adulthood in the cradle of liberalism(Cambridge, Massachusetts, in blissful ignorance until 9/11/2001)edit: I'd gotten big hints earlier but I shrugged them off as it was too painful..one block away from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government where Khatami was last week.. My point?..opinions are free....yet, I'm humbled all the time..'cuz often, I haven't got a clue re: what to do about the issue I bring to the forefront of administrators/legislators[children's human rights is my baby]..and I have a feeling you don't know either in this situation...which is fine..but co-opting a 'one-up' stance to a man like Pope Benedict who has studied and meditated on what he spoke of last week with such devotion and fervor, for most of his life, imo, is a huge insult and demonstrates ignorance of those who do..that includes you and your like=minded colleagues...and mine also...I'm quite alone in my current world view as all my close friends and colleagues are die-hard liberals who will not even entertain the notion of their opinions possibly being dead wrong...Elisabeth
