koan, Quit while your ahead

It was Mimur who made my point. My point was that this clash isn't about Seniority or Pecking-Order. Those are empty concepts.

This clash is about a persons ability to do good solid due diligence, and communicate it in a clear fashion.

Mimur just illustrated that last night.

He was generally insulting, writing about my "guess work due diligence". Then he writes >b>"But you did nail that SSR/EXL call"

LOL. The SSR / EXL comparison was my biggest thrust in 2005. I was presenting my case that SSR would offer far better returns. There were dozens and dozens of old-timers, who mocked me. They all sounded just like you (Koan) and the guy who started this skirmish. They all sounded so sure of themselves, but they couldn't bring themselves to carefully study my analysis.

One would hope that the old-timers would be more open to new ideas.

Depending on when you bought, SSR could have returned 900%, compared to about 400% with EXL. I started comparing the two when they were around 50 cents.

And since the day I started posting in Feb 2005, SSR is up about 25x. It was the best performing Junior in 2005. And Benson was one of the only people posting serious due diligence on SSR.

That’s not “guess-work due diligence”.
