No amount of rate cuts will save the housing market now. Its officially a bear market in housing and lower rates won't change it. It must run its course. Lowering the interest rates will serve to light an enormous fire under gold and silver. So its fine with me either way. If the US lowers rates the dollar is finished forever. And inflation will destroy the rest of the country. Greed kills and America is almost dead, watch and learn. As far as oil, well its the shoulder season now. 80.00 by Christmas. 100.00 an hour after an attack on Iran which isn't going to happen anyway any more than an attack on Syria, another good friend of the USA.

But exploration plays such as Delta Petroleum may save the portfolios of investors.

You've got smog in your brain. Its YOU that knows NOTHING about economics. You have made outrageous anti-gold comments here before and have almost always been wrong and you will be wrong about interest rates AND the housing market AND the USD as you usually are.

Anyway why are you here? Do you own ARU?
