i really don't know, i haven't seen the details of the buyout agreement that was under consideration, but when you consider the legacy costs of 460,000 retirees for GM, i would imagine F is looking at similar untenable retirement expenses...

at this point i am assuming that any potential worker 'buyout' would include future pension liabilities, otherwise, why bother?
