Yeah...you've brought up another intractable situation. I think I have an idea on this one. Japan is about to elect a new president. One that wants to have even closer ties to the U.S. and build up its military. I say we tell the guy to start producing nukes as fast as he can and work directly with us to create the finest anti-missile defense system ever built. That'll scare the heck out of both China AND N. Korea and we'll start getting some REAL leverage in that region.
